Reda - Seit 1990, this is how it all began!

REDA has been manufacturing awnings, sun canopies and camping accessories for caravans and caravans for more than 30 years. REDA is still a genuine family business that manufactures awnings, sun canopies and accessories with a huge passion for camping. As a caravan salesman at a caravan dealer, the founder of the company, Rene von Daal, quickly realized that the demand for modern round awnings was extremely high. However, as there were no suitable awnings that met his requirements, the idea of setting up his own company and producing awnings was only logical. He started sewing tent and awning bags in his attic. With this experience, Rene quickly realized that it was also possible to earn money with high-quality awnings and sun canopies. Due to the high quality of his products, it was only a matter of time before they had to move to their own larger production facility in Baarn. Here, too, they quickly realized that they needed much more space for the production of their own round bow awnings. So they moved into a former fitness gym. In 1998, the time had come to open our 1st own awning exhibition. During this time, a close cooperation with Eriba was established to produce special Eriba Touring awnings. In 2015, the two sons Roan and Rory van Daal started working at Reda and took on more and more tasks. In addition to producing its own round awnings, Reda also produces high-quality glamping tents and manufactures awnings on behalf of other well-known manufacturers. Reda is a real family business, and you can feel that from the very beginning, especially when it comes to suggestions for improvement and new ideas.

Reda - Round modern bow awnings & sun canopys

The awning manufactory, as the company simply has to be called, is characterized by an incredible amount of attention to detail and function. Reda's awning portfolio mainly comprises modern round awnings and bow sun canopies, similar to the round Unico awnings. Of course, Reda only uses the best awning materials such as TenCate and Mehler, extra and stable poles with a wall thickness of 1 mm at 28 mm and a stable 1.5 mm at 32 mm. Reda awnings have already proven their stability in a number of storms throughout Europe and have held up well. Reda also uses branded poles and a combination of steel and ALU is used at the important crosses in the poles to provide even more stability.

On our first visit to Reda in the Netherlands, we were more than pleasantly surprised by the pride and craftsmanship with which they go about their work. Round Awnings by Reda - the highlights

The awning fabric is titanium dioxide (TiO2) coated with nanoparticles. When UVA rays hit the Reda Green Line fabric, a natural process begins that converts oxygen and water vapor from the atmosphere. The process is repeated millions of times in the awning to clean the surface and the air that comes into contact with it, which has led to a 55% reduction in dust dioxide levels in laboratory tests. Reda Green Line also reduces mold growth by up to 60 % and has a self-cleaning effect of up to 70 %. This data is indicative and may vary depending on environmental conditions.
